For the Glory of God:
Gripped by war, poverty and plague, the villagers of
Oberammergau, vowed to God to tell the world about His
Son, Jesus Christ, every ten years if the town was spared.

Thank you for a most glorious reaffirmation of faith. In this increasingly secularised world of today, it is heartening to see how a centuries old Christian promise is still being kept, and that people are not ashamed to displaytheir faith.

The whole atmosphere and event was magnificent, the music electrifying, and the overwhelming power of the play and what it means, is truly awesome.

I hope that the people of Oberammergau wiil continue to keep their faith over the years to come.

I had a wonderful time in your lovely village. Thank you for the commitment and care you have given to telling Jesus' story for so many years.

We stayed in the home of the wonderful Christine Magold, she was a real treasure.

Our only disappointment was our seats in the theatre. We were in seats 166 & 167 row 11 door A. Which was on the very end of row 2 by door A. Although very near the front we really couldn't see much and the sightlines were very poor. We missed most of the tableau's - as we simply could not see them. It was such a shame. Plus there was a gentleman with the biggest cowboy hat sitting in the front row. Therefore we saw very little.

Perhaps thought could be given to this in the future.

I don't want to seem overtly negative, as overall the whole experience was very special.

Well Done to everyone and a special thank you to Anton and Helga for welcoming us into your home during our visit in June. We are delighted with the carvings you made Anton.

We came with a group in June and returned in September to have the chance to look around the village during the Passion Play year without the rushing around to see the play.
How wonderful and peaceful once the theatre filled.
We shall be revisiting the village in 2011 and feeling that wonderful sensation that fills the village where the Christian faith reaches everywhere.
I would remind everyone that Oberammergau is there for you for the next 9 years until we can join you again in the Passionsspiele Year 2020.

We have had the privilege to visit in a play year now 8 times
including 2 in 1980
May Gos Bless you all and Thank You.

Could you share Otto Huber\\\'s e-mail address with me? I had the opportunity of meeting him in 2000, and want to let him know how much I treasured the play again this year.

having been in 2000 and read comments about the rescheduling, I would just like to say how much an impact it gave my family and I to finish late evening..to see the stars in the sky,,and a plane flying overhead, made the significance of Christs death and resurection even more meaningful. Today was your last performance...God bless you...we hope you all have good health, peace, and prosperity..thank you for your enduring tradition....and here's to 2020!...Devon, uk.

Dear Saints,
Hi! I wish that I could have been in Oberammergau on 10/03/2010 to see your performance of faith as Christians commemorating the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Christ Jesus. I will make the pilgrimage to Bavaria in 2020 to retrace my Mama's footsteps in Europe and share the life of Christ with the faithful members of YOUR Passion Play.
Psalm 91 I offer to the cast in fellowship as your sister in Christ. "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Surely He will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisesome pestilence. "He shall cover us with His feathers, and under His wings we shall trust; His Truth will be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror that flieth by night, nor the arrow that flieth by day, Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth by noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. . .Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the Most High thy habitation There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways; angels shall bear thee UP in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon thou shalt thou trample under feet. "Because he hath set his love upon me," says the Lord, "Therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation." Ladies and Gentlemen of the 2010 production, I send my agape love to you and thank you for making this event possible. may the LORD bless you and keep you until 2020 and we meet again for His glory under Jupiter's starlight of His Way, Truth and Life. Shalom. Gimel. In Christ, CAROL Albright Kepler Ringold Williams of Atlanta, GA.

Congratulations to all for a memorable event. A couple of minor comments: Sadly I found the restlesness of the audience a distraction in the second half, and wonder if the re-timing to morning and afternoon or early and late afternoon would suit the more senior citizens better, and also allow for discussion after the event rather than simply going back through darkend streets to guestrooms/hotels? I thought the applause detracted from the final impact. Yes the performers should be acknowledged, but perhaps after a respectful few seconds of silence to let the message of the play "sink in" rather than start applauding as the players leave the stage - it risked trivialising an otherwise magnificant spiritual experience into the effect of a West End musical.
