Insurrection Rehearsal 6th March 2010

6th March 2010, 3 p.m. - Rehearsals are under way on the open-air stage in the purpose-built Passion Play theatre. Pictures of the insurrection mass scene rehearsal on the open-air Passion Play stage can be seen in the "Latest Pictures" section.

Weather conditions were rather challenging due to the snowfall in Oberammergau which didn't keep the Oberammergauer's from rehearsing! This mass scene is one of the biggest mass scenes of the Passion Play. Besides the crowd, all involved speaking roles, the high priests, Annas servant, Caiaphas servant, all Romans, all Pilate servants, Barabbas, Dismas and Gestas are on stage.
