First Mass Scene Rehearsal January 16th 2010

Rehearsals are under way now on the open-air stage in the purpose-built theatre, beards are being grown and hair is left uncut. Pictures of the first mass scene rehearsal on the open-air Passion Play stage, which took place on 16th January, can be seen in the "Latest Pictures" section.

The clothing of the performers shows that rehearsals around this time of the year are rather challenging. Rehearsals for the Passion Play 2010 have already been in full swing since the end of November. Before January 2010 performers rehearsed in a small theater in Oberammergau. The picture in the "Latest Pictures" section show Christian Stückl instructing performers of a mass scene.

The pool of choir and orchestra members already started their rehearsals on September 28th 2009 whilst performers started to rehearse on November 28th 2009.
